San Juan Worm

The San Juan Jorm represents aquatic worms or tied in smaller sizes also represent chironomid (midge) larvae.  It can be fished under indicator in lakes - preferably near the bottom.  But it is most commonly used in moving water. It should be dead drifted using an indicator or tight line presenation. Although most commonly tied in red, you could also tie this fly in cream, tan, rust, peach, brown, or aqautic green.
